Hi all

Here we are entering into the Xmas year end season and I’m already already out of synch….Got to calibrate my dials or I’ll end up meeting the Elois……😯

Starting yet another diorama piece. Most probably will use the other refurbished microscope box that I have. This one will be a counterpoint to Omdurman. I’ll try to use up my stocks of female heads and torsos. Another guessing piece but is a quite well known ptg.

starting with the forefront fig which will be 1/24 based on preiser parts.

I selected a mass of failed castings and added putty to them. Then respected suitable poses and re articulated the rest to give me 6 mannequins. Numbered the pieces for identification n away I go.

The full height of these figs has been delineated. More drapery has been sculpted.
Note the variety of makes. 1/30 Historex, 1/32 Preiser and 1/35 Masterbox and my own 1/32 castings. Scale is overrated….🎼

Of the 6 maidens, they are lined up walking towards the viewer in two lines. Hence I am sculpting them in pairs front, middle and back with progressive smaller sizes.
Arms added and the front figures were sprayed in matt.

Hi Louis.
Thx. I added a wash of paint to these drab figs.
