Here is a set of Rangers...
Beau Bien (The Wolf) and William Stark (I suppose)...
and a pack horse I'm including (probably more designed for B of M...for Fraxinus) that can be used in any FIW series...

YES!!!!! been waiting a long time for sgt. beaubien mike. John did a great job on this piece for sure and i can't wait to see it painted. nice pic buddy, looks great. the other two rangers will go well with the "the prisoner" set rr03.

Mike,
Do know if "The Wolf" and Stark are going to be regular release or part of the Collector's Club? Many thanks for the pictures.

Steve

Fantastic to see some Rangers in action at last, I missed snowshoes, as it was halfway through when I started collecting,
and have been asking John for more Rangers since the beginning!

Can't wait to add them into my collection!

Hope we see a few more, can't imagine we won't! :)

Thanks for the open house pictures!

Steve...this never came up in the conversation...but I can't imagine he would delegate it to a Club set...I think this set will sell good...used in St. Francis and almost any of his FIW series...the Rangers were an integral part of the entire FIW...so this should be a versatile and sought after set...

An interesting tidbit I found out at the Troops of Time open house in Jacksonville, FL this past Wednesday was that John has been working on this set for over 2 years. He was having trouble getting the wolf to look the way he wanted it too. He tried a walking pose and another sitting pose. They weren't working for him, so he kept working on it until he got something he liked. I have seen a lot of posts on the forum for this figure, and John was working on it all the time folks were asking about it.

This says two things to me:

1 - John listens to feedback and requests

2 - he is not going to release something until he is pleased with it.

One thing no one has commented on is the ranger sitting next to the wolf. I think this is the best face John has ever done. He looks tired as he sits there. I can't wait to see this painted.

Matthew

Mike, that would be great if John released "The Wolf" and Stark as part of St Francis. I'm hoping he keeps most of Club Sets to BOM and Snowshoe. Thanks
Steve

Mathew...me and Nicholas said the same thing when we saw it at the show...
