That is Zaloga's rendition of the recent plastic Tamiya IS-2 heavy tank in 1/35th scale.

Steve is truly an amazing modeler as well as researcher and author. I am totally fascinated with his US armor in multiple scales, but he does a bit of everything. Steve Z. is also a good photographer and does some amazing work with PhotoShop backgrounds for his models. Sometimes he blurs the treads so the tank actually appears to be in motion.
