I thought I'd start a thread for people to share their pictures of the initial releases of the FL "Stalingrad" range which are all centered around the Barrikady gun factory.

I'm having a lot of fun playing with my new figures and creating scenes using some of Mark's excellent Build-A-Rama rubble. As FL continues to release figures, vehicles and scenics for this range I suspect the prospect for intersting pictures will continue to improve.

My first pictures depict a small German assault group.

OUTSTANDING Dio.:):)
I myself LOOK FORWARD to the upcoming figures and putting together my version of the Battle of Stalingrad. This line of figures is just plain AWESOME. A collector can put together an entire battle with all the trimming's.
Who could ask for anything more.

Spectacular photos, Frank,
this thread will be one to watch as it grows.
Even though I do not collect WWII, a good display and these beautiful figures are a pleasure to see.

Fantstic display. The arrangement of the rubble is very realistic. Where did the tires and corrugated roofing come from?

Excellent photos Frank. I love the detailing and setup of the figures - the one guy shooting over the downed telephone pole while the others peer around the corner makes a great composition. Crystal clear photos as always. Looking forward to seeing this thread grow....

Best,

Matt

frank, nice composition mate!
once you get the stug, and if you creatively put the HB Tiger as well, i reckon it will be an even cracking display.:)

Fantastic pictures Frank. The figures look superb as is, yet even more so when displayed as you have done.

If you look at the unenlarged views it looks like rubble with these really insignificant grey clad figures scampering around in it. Almost like rats. The Rattenkrig indeed. I found that image very sobering.
Thank you for posting.

Amazing pictures

I particularly like the soldier peering around the corner - very realistic

Thanks Rod,

I tried something different for these pictures. They were taken indoors using light from a window and a bounce flash off the ceiling. I was looking for a softer look than the closeups without the high contrast stark shadows. The exposures varied from 5-6 seconds.

Re: Battle for the Barrikady Gun Factory, Nov.'42

Great photos. I love what you did with the rubble. I think it improves the overall look when the base of the figures is merged into its surroundings - which you have done perfectly.

Nicely done!

Stunning display, excellent camera work and VERY photogenic figures. Once again this appears so life like it could be an actual scene.
