Rob, as for that gun barrel, it looks like a Panther or maybe a small scale Tiger.
No Tigers or Panthers in Stalingrad. Maybe a Stug?
No wonder they lost
It looked to be a thin barrel, did they have the longer barreled Stugs in Stalingrad? Or could it be a Nashorn
Yes indeed,Rod has done an amazing job on that dio

I am not sure about, but I think that the Tigers will introduce in the East only in early 1943, with the Mainstein Winter’s Storms Operation to liberate the Paulus 6th Army encirclement. Later on, they will a lot of them in the Karkov and Kursk.

( Sd Kfz 131 )
Leichte Feldhaubitze 18/2 auf Fahrgestell Panzerkampfwagen II (Sf )
( Sd Kfz 124 )
Panzerjager 38(t) fur 7.62cm PaK36(r)
( Sd Kfz 139 )
7.5cm Pak40/3 auf Panzerkampfwagen 38(t) Ausf H
( Sd Kfz 138 )
