We are very pleased to present the latest releases for our marquis eastern front WWII range, the Battle of Stalingrad. Last month we brought out our T-34 STZ and this month we’re adding winter versions for each turret variant along with a crew figure that can be used with any of the variants. These variants are designed as part of the Soviet Operation Uranus and as such, winter clad tank riders and attacking Soviet Infantry can't be far off along with some slightly more desperate Germans as we move towards the latter stag Additionally, we’re adding the perfect display complement to General Paulus, GERSTAL047 General Walther von Seydlitz. All of these figures/tanks will be shipping in mid July 2012.

RUSSTAL020 Russian T-34 76mm STZ with Cast Turret – Winter - $299.95
RUSSTAL021 Russian T-34 76mm STZ with Welded Turret – Winter - $299.95
RUSSTAL022 Russian Tank Commander - $54.95
GERSTAL047 General Walther von Seydlitz - $64.95
Pre-Order, Ships Mid July 2012

von Seydlitz is holding a captured Soviet map of the city with accurate colors. very nice touch matt.

This line just keeps getting better and better. Most my WWII hobby money now goes to FL (what a difference a few months has made for me).

interesting winter camo paint jobs. They look better than the versions they did on the Panzer III and, I like the mottle effect on the barral maybe, a bit more like that around the sides etc of the AFV would have been better but, thats a personal taste on how I like winter camo to look. my only comment would be the way that they have painted the lines around the number two and the white russian slogan on the other tank. Would have liked to have seen it weathered than just perfect straight painted edges. its whitewash and, would not have looked like this given the extent of the weathering to the rest of the AFV.

Really???:rolleyes2: If there is any model out there re-presenting winter weathering "better" then this one I'd like to see it....Everything else I've seen doesn't even come close to the superb weathering on this model........This winter T-34 looks fantastic........Sorry Mitch (no offense) but that also includes your "re-paints".{eek3}{eek3}^&grin^&grin^&grin

I figure we've all got our preferences on how we like our items detailed and weathered. Personally, I'm VERY satisfied with the weathering on the FL winter Panzer III, but having seen examples of Mitch's work, I figure he's very entitled to express his own opinion (as are all forum members for that matter)..."to each their own" says me {sm4}.

no other manufacturer even comes close to FL. The winter T34 is the best I EVER saw before. It looks just like the real thing as do all of their soldiers. All true to scale, all researched. Its hard for me to buy from another manufacturer after getting FL. Once you go FL you don't go back!

Must say if I'm picking any of the T-34s it would be the winter version, (of course I need the others as well:)) but the winter stuff just always stands out to me, and I really like the sculpt of the tank commander as well...Sammy
