Stamps (1 Viewer)

We have had ongoing discussions with the Royal Mail and had to give image and text approvals for this project.
We suggested a totally different product (Marching Guardsman) but someone in their team was very sure that the figure chosen was the right choice. The good news is that there might be additional subjects used on future stamps including our favorite. We have our fingers crossed!

Would not have been my first choice to be sure but it's good to see just the same

I used to collect US stamps and still have my collection but in my opinion the quality of stamps and themes presented are definitely inferior to yesteryear. For example, from my collection here are a stamp from the Colombian 400th Centennial series from 1892, Noah Webster from 1958 and John Muir from 1964. I used to complain about the quality of stamps in the 1970s but they look well done compared to what we have today.
