Guys,
We have had some great releases in the past two months from K&C but none better IMO than these Streets of Old Hong Kong sets. Just something away from War and with a peaceful ring to them. Not everyones cup of tea but I really like them.:smile2:
Cheers Howard

I only have one set from that series, but I do have the junk, and I keep thinking how great this would look as a background for it. Very colorful and a great platform for displaying a few figures.

I like this as well Howard...I have the older Moongate and must manage the funds and size accordingly. Some of us have unlimited space I guess:wink2:

Markey mate,
I don't think anybody has unlimited funds, especially with the Aussie dollar falling, when TS collecting but room to display is always a problem. :smile2: When however we see a great couple of sets like these two facades, then you make some room.
If that old Moongate (HK089) becomes too much of a burden on your space please let me know as there is a spot left vacant for it in my SOHK showcase.^&grin
You have a great day now. Cheers Howard

This is a great series Howard, extensive and so colourful. With the numerous buildings and the hive of activity in figures any diorama would have the 'wow' factor. Fairly obvious this is a seller for K&C so expect more regular releases for along time yet. Yes the falling dollar is slowing Aussie's up, but it's good to take a breather every now & than. Just a matter of accepting the situation for the time being. Robin.

With all those very bright colours st. of HK could be an antidepressant for winter time....{sm4}

Hello Howard:

Yes, these new K&C terraced building sets that they just came out with are splendid. They would appear to be updated versions of K&C sets HK 075 & HK 076 which I got back in the year 2000 or so as I recall without looking up my purchase records. My Streets of Old Hong Kong display is my wife's favorite display and is also one of my favorites as well.

I have taken the liberty to post a close up photo of my old HK 075 & HK 076 sets that are on our large Streets of Old Hong Kong display for comparison purposes. Please see photo below.
