Just a few examples but currently listed are 2 K&C sets commanding very healthy bids. Yes these may be in fact exceptions to the rule right now, but what an interesting scenario.
Yes again a lot of sets have sold below original release prices but check these 2 out.....

BBG016 current bid $360.00 Ws065 set current bid $395.00 !

What utter nonsense. :mad: Both are for sale by Choice Coin out of Texas and each has 1 bid with several days to go. But there are several recent completed sales for BBG016 at about $200. There are also several completed sales of WS065 at around $125 and several sets still listed in the same $125 price range. I would bet it's a scam and I wonder who is involved?

I looked at the listings again and there are different bidders for each item. A lot of other items are starting at like $400.00 + / buy it now around $650.00
If someone buys the WS065 for $395.00 that is pretty steep ! {sm2}

Just looking at this outfits Tiger tank listings. All are on the very high side. Opening bids at $465, buy it now at $665 for WS151 (Kursk), WS171sl (Snow), WS171 (King). Opening bid @ $865, Buy it Now @ $1165 for WS070sl (Winter). AKo39sl for $475 OB, $695 BiN. WS043 (Wittmann) and WS067 (King) for $455 OB, $635 BiN. Must be the special gold tread editions.:rolleyes2: -- Al

I am constantly amazed at the high prices for most items on Ebay, especially ones marked above retail that are still available from regular dealers. Personally, I always wait for deals, unless it is an item I know is rare and will always command a premium. Usually, it you are patient, you can get lucky on Ebay. I see so many $120-$130 K&C figures on Ebay, but they don't seem to sell. Then, the next week you see the again, and again, and again. However, I definitely have noticed that in general it seems to be much more of a seller's market than it was 2-3 years ago.
