Two questions about the Stug:

1. From what I've read, some of the CS Stugs are in the wrong boxes. So are there any unique, identifying markings on the Stug, 10th SS-Nijmegen (#CS00302) which would distinguish it from the other CS Stugs?

2. How rare are the Stugs now?

The marking is on the rear mud flap and is the capital F of that divisions marking. It should have been the shield enclosed key of the 1st SS, but it doesn't matter to me. If your stug has the advertised Arnhem color scheme, then it should have the capital F. Don't know about scarcity or value. -- Al

LANCER:

Thanks for the info. So that raises another question: Are ALL of the Stug-10th SS (#CS00302) in the wrong box?

In other words, if I want to get a Stug, 10th SS (#CS00302) should I order the #CS00301 box (which would have the #CS00302 inside)?

Simple. Ask whoever you order it from to make sure of what model they are sending you.

It may have just been a packaging issue at the factory all the ones I have are in the correct boxes. I don't know if this makes them rarer I would venture not

The CS stug is a really nice model. The possible incorrect divisional symbol can always be removed and corrected with little effort. Camo jobs varied so widely it is easy to put one style into many situations. Great effort by CS. -- Al

GUYS:

Thanks for the info. I did locate one 10th SS Stug at a dealer and asked to confirm what version he had. He said had the LAH version, not what was on the box.
