StuG: Another reason to ditch the dead French guy & sign (2 Viewers)

I still encourage anyone who likes it to buy the StuG. It is a very nice model and this is a relatively minor issue. I just happened to have noticed an inconcistency or two in my reference books that I thought I would share for anyone interested. I see no reason to keep such things to myself - it is a legitimate topic of discussion here I think.

I only discovered these because I like to do a lot of research about the particular products I am interested in, both before and after I buy them. If people view my collection, I like to be able to explain to them what each piece did, how it worked, where and when it was used etc. Some collectors like myself are concerned about accuracy. If you're not, that's absolutely cool too. People collect these things for all kinds of reasons - it's 100% okay if your reason for collecting is different from mine.

Dear C.S. In Doyles book "Catalogue of German Military Vehicles" He mentions crews constantly modifing their equipement in the field, and damaged vehicles being sent back to the factories for repairs where upgrades would often occur. It would not be unrealistic for a StuG III B to have an "upgraded" comunication system if it survived later into the war.

Why not use the dead French guy with FOB031, the French 75 Gun. It looks like the crew are coming under fire.
