Stug/PanzerIII/Sdkfz 232/ what's next for Stalingrad?? (1 Viewer)

Welcome aboard Montag! Are you living in Bayern ? Been there 5 times! Love it, wish i was living there! Thanks for you input in regards to the Stalingrad series!

Welcome to the forum Montag. I look forward to your contributions.

Hey Folks – first time poster here. ...I’ve truly been impressed with the First Legion figures I’ve acquired. I’ve got a handful of Napoleonics and most of the Stalingrad line including the STUG III – fantastic work Matt!....Considering this, I’d humbly propose that the new First Legion Pz III carry the insignia of the Leaping Horseman of the 24th Pz Div.

Welcome to the forum Montag and thank for the kind words on our products.

If you look at at the first post in the link below where we showed a sneak preview of our upcoming Panzer III J Late, you can see that it does indeed come from the 24th Pz division and carries the insignia of the leaping horsemen.

Panzer III Leaping Horsemen

Look at the second image, front left fender. It's also on the rear as well.

I'm envious that you got to meet and spend time with Jason. His book Island of Fire was the single biggest inspiration for our figure range.

Best,

Matt

Welcome to the forum , I look forward to more of your input to the First Legions threads . Always good to have a man of obvious good taste making a contribution . Would love to hear more about your trip , I'm also a fan of Jason Mark , IMO his contribution to the study of Stalingrad is invaluable , and a great window into possible future releases from First Legion ;) All the best Gebhard

How about the following?

Panzer IV Long Barrel.
A Sd.Kfz 10/4 2cm Flak gun.
A Sd.kfz 251 Troop carrier.

The more things change the more they stay the same , In this old First legion thread from almost a year ago I was hoping to see First Legion produce an SIG33B , I'm still hoping that it will happen , From Mr Matt's response to my proposition I still have a little hope :) Since this time a new book has been published on the SID33 by Nuts & Bolts in Germany http://www.rzm.com/magazines/nab/nab026.cfm I hope to pick one up when I build my Hobby funds back up  Regards Gebhard
