So you all think my First Legion figures would be okay simply using bubble wrap bags that are 4" X 5"? Of course figures that have swords and easily breakable weapons would go back in their original box. You should be good to go with those; any that you are unsure about, just carefully put them back in their original boxes..............

I know you're a major collector of Britains ACW and I'm sure you have some First Legion as well. Just wondering your thoughts on using bubble bags for First Legion figures? First Legion products are more delicate as far as the easily breakable parts such as rifles and bayonets.

I layer the foam in, put in a layer of figures and so on, it works out perfectly so that the last layer is placed into the bin upside down and it's very snug..................I can count the number of figures that were damaged in the past 10 years by using this method, usually because it was a figure that had a pose that did not warrant being put into the bins, but I took a shot and it blew up in my face.................

Well, I am feeling a little like "Crazed Collector Goes Cuckoo!"

Finished moving everything into storage. Really glad I got a "CubeSmart" for the collection, which is now chalk full of other stuff since we have so much crap it could not all fit in the truck.

I get a 3 month period without toy soldiers.

For most of my FL collection laying them on the special egg crate foam in bins was really helpful.

Still took me almost as long to pack up my collection as my wife to pack most of the rest of the house!

She is a trooper, though and has not insisted I do a "liquidation" sale.

Well, about 3 months before we find out if I really will go cuckoo when I open it up again.

Oh and TFT's world, they're doing as many shows now as any of the rest of us, don't want to forget about them...................:wink2:...........I guess they figured the rest of us were having so much fun at the shows that they'd jump in, the waters fine.
