Mine has just arrived. Summer 2017 issue of the Standard, a good thick 67 page 2017 stock catalogue and their Summer Catalogue with their taster of things to come looks like 3 new Vikings and 1 Saxon.
Nassau Officer, Drummer and Standard bearer, a few other offerings in the Museum and Tars and Leathernecks.
A a New range, Dirty Shirt Blue. American West from 1860's to 1890's. First offerings will be Dismounted 9th Cav trooper, Apache Scout, US Infantry 1880's and Captain Myles Keogh 7th Cavalry 1876. Alas he's in dress uniform.

Some interesting stuff for sure, as long as they speed up their operation from preview to in stock !

Wishing and hoping all the best for them with that.

I really like the Nassau sergeant major with regimental colour. I just hope he appears before the end of the year!

I've collected Britains for more years than I care to remember. However in the summer consumer price list some of the newer "ordinary" figures are now priced at £42.99 . Yes £s not $s. So basically we are paying the $ amount in £s. Now I know the exchange rate in the UK isn't what it was......but......there is still a difference between the dollar and pound. Is this something else sneaking under the radar using BREXIT as an excuse.??

I agree. WB have just priced me out with these new prices. Nice figures but I'm not interested at that price. If this is the way the pricing is going at WB sadly I have probably already bought my last WB soldier.

I think a major reason for price rises has got to be that WB are improving the painting level of the figures. Which along with the fall in the value pound because of Brexit makes for a difficult mix for us collectors in the UK to swallow.

However the slow release of new figures and then their actual availability are I think becoming a serious problem for WB worldwide, which WB really need to get to grips with.

Other manufacturers are certainly keeping the interest of collectors invigorated releasing some exciting ranges and them being readily available soon after and this is something WB need to do also.

Part of the problem as I see it is WB continuing to have long production runs producing the same figures for several years unlike their rivals.

So come on WB get moving, we collectors like your figures. But would like a wider range of poses in your figures in any given line and available much quicker !
