Hi Guys,

Our latest edition of ‘COLLECTOR’ just arrived earlier today.

It’s a wee bit late but all things considered not too bad and 36 full colour pages filled with recently-released and about-to-be-released K&C items that I hope many of you will enjoy.

There’s also details of our ‘Chicago Show Special Figures’ that celebrate the 40[SUP]th[/SUP] Anniversary of this great show... I’m only sorry I cannot attend in person.

Anyway check out this latest ‘COLLECTORissue #56 and ... Enjoy!
Andy

Cool Andy, visions of Falklands to excite and one of my favourite series Life of Jesus resurrected. A fantastic issue, like reading a book with plenty of illustrations. Brilliant. Robin.

Looks great, just been on website and the Remainder Sale link is no longer there, have these promotions finished?

Can't quite believe Andy and the K&C team are still able to continuously produce their monthly releases given the chaos of Covid.......

Good to see what has been happening over the past few months, and what is in store for the coming one.

I really like the Royal Marine from the Falklands War, that is a iconic pose, and looks like a great starter for this range of figures :)

The Vistula Lancers look fine, a good re-kitting of the Red Lancers from earlier on .... especially the bugler who sure stands out, like the signaller of the time, did.
Your posing of them with the Scots Greys is definitely 'poetic licence' but I'd love to see a setup with your Dutch Lancers or Cuirassiers to make the scene historically accurate :)

Thanks for another fine publication, and glad that we can get it in digital (.PDF) format too,

John

Would certainly like to get hold of the Bunny girl set to entertain the troops when they're not out in the Boonies !

The Falkland series appears at last....... :salute:: :salute:::salute:::salute:: ^&grin^&grin^&grin^&grin^&grin

So glad it hadn't "Gone West".............. :wink2: Can't wait!

Enjoyable Collector.

I esp. like the Rising Son Reinforcements/Road to Singapore, Liberation (new Resistance fighters look great!), and reading more about the Texan Ranchers. Beautiful new and older pieces throughout with historic "tidbits". Great stuff all around!

Andy,

Your Collector magazines are so expertly put together and are very enjoyable in their own right! Well done my friend!

Mark :salute::

Funny “Collector” story.

I have 6 yo and 3.75 yo girls (she doesn’t let us forget how much older she is than a regular 3 yo.) They’re in love with Star Wars and fascinated with my Daddy’s toys (toy soldiers for those with dirty minds.)

I had mentioned the link between WW2 and the Empire. So, my 6 yo daughter found an old Collector issue and wanted to read for her bedtime book. It had lots of Brits, ANZACs, Nazis and a few GIs. Plus Romans. Just perfect for discussing history and being able to relate it to Star Wars.

Andy, sorry but they found your writing mostly “boooh-ring!” but loved the pictures and figures and how they relate to Star Wars. 😁

Andy, I could be wrong but the Soldier with the Bunny looks like he has a Big Red One Patch ? Hopefully a few more of his buddies will show up too !

Steve mate,
I'm with you cobber. More figures from the 1st Division, the Big Red One, would be great. The 3rd Brigade of this Division worked on Operation Crimp (8-14th January, 1966) with the 173rd Airborne Brigade (Separate) and one of its three Battalions was the Aussie 1 RAR Battalion plus 4/19 PWLH APC Troop and 161 Field Battery, RNZA. Mixing figures and AFVs from this Division with the already produced Aussies & Kiwis would make for a great Dio.

Cheers Howard

Hey Howard

Yep, would like to see all these units produced.

None Flak jacket wearing US troops would certainly be welcome and a few sporting shoulder patches for various Infantry and Paratroop Divisions I think would be popular I think as they have in other ranges, and the 173rd Airborne Brigade " The Herd" would certainly deserve to be included and be top of my list.
