First Legion is very pleased to present our rendition of Russian Artillery of the Seven Years War. Sets SYW014-SYW020 depict the full complement of gunners with an incredibly detailed 12lb gun and a stunning officer figure, each resplendent in their red uniforms of the period. The Prussian 7th Line will now have to advance with a bit more caution as the Russian Artillery has taken the field at Kunersdorf! We sincerely hope you enjoy them.

It's just not fair. 7YW is not one of my interests, but I am a sucker for gun crews and this one is soooo nice.

stunning set, stunning figures, I love this historical period.
....but why use those square bases for these figures which must not be in line?

Totally agree......
Artillery figures would be more versatile with irregular bases.

I don't think the square bases are a big deal as long as the figures can be displayed appropriatly around the cannon, which they appear to be. This is an excellent set for the SYW crowd and should be a welcome addition for many collectors. I also like the continuing trend of being able to purchase the figures seperately from the cannon. I assume this has been a successful marketing idea from the previous ACW and NAP artillery sets, or else FL wouldn't do it anymore!
