Hi Blake,

Was just wondering if in time as well as making tanks that have not been made by anyone else, will you also be making the classics like the Sherman,Panther etc.?Also will you be developing your own stlye of boxes/packaging?

Rob

Cheers:

I would love to see a Winter version or similar of a German Flakpanzer Wirblewind. I would also love to see & have a proper Winter version of the U.S. M24 Chaffee tank. As far as boxes go-something like the K&C Winter Tiger WS70 packaging is quite stunning. But as far as production costs go, a standard generic box is just fine in my book if it keeps production costs & subsequently buyer costs down. Some sort of certificate with the production number and associated history would be neat though. In the end, I do not display boxes at all.

Check Six!

Hi guys
No we won't be making a Sherman or Panther or a Tiger (not for a while at least) as plenty out there already. I would prefer to stick with the stuff not currently available. With regard to the boxes they are not considered a priority at the moment as most people I spoke to in Chicago seemed happy if a plain box meant we kept the prices lower. Thats not to say we will keep what we have for ever as personally I would love to change them over but that will be in the future. Wait until next month Rob when our new release comes out and I am sure you will not be disappointed, I guarantee you don't have this momma in your 1/30th collection.
I love the idea of the Chaffee as its a great looking tank - guess we will just have to wait and see.
Regards Blake

Blake,

Will your three new releases be spread out over the next couple of months or are they new out at the London show?

Give as a clue are they vehicles (tracked or wheeled), infantry or towed?

Here's a new one, how about a British Flail tank or another of Hobart's funnies?

Haven't had a Brit tank for a while. (pine, pine, etc.)

Rgds

Andy

Touch wood they will all be there at the London show - 2 sets of SS FJ Paras and a German Tank. The tank may be available before London depending on shipping as it looks nearly finished. Still need to see a sample first though so things may need to change before we go to production.
My lips are now sealed as I've said too much!

Pierre think smaller not bigger please! Do you know how much one of those would cost to ship? Think small mummy not big momma!

You've done it now Blake! They're not going to let you rest until they've pried every last detail out of you :D .
I'm afraid it's a losing battle as toy soldier collectors are too enthusiastic a lot to be able to wait all the way until December.

I didn't think you were collecting 1/30th anymore OZ? However if you still were it would not be a MK3 coming out (or a Goliath for Wraith) sorry but they are in the pipeline a long way away.
We did look at doing a Jagdtiger and even got to a finished sample but the weight was enormous and the cost was not pretty either! So that one has been shelved indefinitely which is a shame but maybe somebody else will do it.
Regards Blake

Blake if you don't want that Jagdtiger finished model to just lie around and it is a project that you aren't going to do you could just send it to me I'll even pay the enormous shipping cost.:D

The problem is it's stuck with our old manufacturers in China and I don't think they are keen on me having it now that we have left them for some reason! If I ever do manage to get it I will of course see if anybody on the forum would be interested but it's not likely to turn up here anytime soon.:(

I hope they don't have you money also.
The Strumtigers are great all 3 arrived with no shipping problems:) . My Strumtiger collection ranges from 20MM to 60MM. I have 11 two of which are kit built and highly detailed.
Keep up the great work and I'm looking forward to your next surprise.
