I just have to say how good the tank tracks look now.I still haven't bought a K&C tank yet as I didn't like the look of the older models. Now they are tempting me everytime I look at them.K&C have got it right and they are improving with everything they release.Just look at the new WW2 stuff coming in April. That new Sherman is calling me but I will try to be strong but those big red ones are mine as soon as they hit the shops.:)

K&C have definetly upped the quality of their tracks, check out the Hummel as an example.

The Hummel is a great piece! I'm tempted by the american SPG on the Sherman hull.

Me too.Have just been watching an episode of 'Battlefield' entitled 'The West Wall'.In which they describe how it was brought up into well defended towns around the wall and destroyed whole buildings at a time.It apparently terrorized the Germans with one officer calling it barbaric and calling for it to be banned!

That comment is attributed to the battle of Aachen where the M12s were used at point-blank range and the Germans thought it was quite "unfair". There was another rumored response from a German officer who's strongpoint surrendered after an M12 fired directly at the command post. He is supposed to have said "when you start using 155's as sniper rifles, it's time for me to give up".

I DO agree that K&C's tracks are head and shoulders above what they used to be!

155 Sniper rifle,i like that;)

Well, I couldn't resist, ordered that M12 SPG today, can't wait for it to come in:). As for the direct fire mode for artillery, it can be an awesome sight! I remember one CALFEX where the redlegs engaged a metal dumpster down range with direct fire and MAN!!! I've never seen a garbage can fly so high in my life:D:):cool:.

There are virtually no Toy Soldier shows in Australia (anyone want to start one). Therefore most K & C dealers have to display their products at hobby and plastic model shows.

Plastic kit modelers are a fussy lot, and frankly the old style K & C tank tracks turned many prospective buyers off the concept of starting a K & C collection. I was so pleased when K & C bit the bullet and fixed up their tank tracks, the company proved that you can mix artistry with accuracy.
