Sorry for the late warning. Turner Classic Movies has "All Quiet on the Western Front" tonight at 8pm EST followed by "A Walk in the Sun" at 10:30pm and "Pork Chop Hill" at 12:30 am. Three great ones for those, like me, with no plans for Friday night. -- Al

Great movies. Pork Chop Hill is a favorite. Many famous and familiar actors in that one.

Horse Soldiers was on the other night. Watched it even though I have it on DVD. The charge over the bridge at the end is still a thrill.

Pork Chop Hill is one of my all time favorites, too. All three of tonight's movies are, as a matter of fact. All three done by Lewis Milestone, who also did The North Star, another good war film. I also will sit down and watch good movies on TV, even though I have them on DVD. Odd, huh? ^&grin -- Al

Not at all, I watch movies on tv I have on DVD as well. I'll always tune in to SPR or BoB even though I have them. Never tire of watching them.
