Thanks........I unfortunately ended up buying the Vickers from a dealer who somehow "lost" the turret tanker. Good news it was a much reduced rate for the Vic and the other 2 officers because of the AWOL laddie, but now I am on the hunt (to no avail) on finding a loose turret tanker to replace him. I am like on the verge of taking a razor saw at the waist to the latest Monty figure, then scuplting a head phone set out of expoxy putty, and replacing him that way.

Walt, the turret figure may be hard to find just by himself. Your potential conversion of the Monty figure sounds very challenging.:)

Don't panic. How badly does the set really need the missing figure and is it worth ruining something else to get it?

That would be a great conversion to see I have done similar to german figures for AFV's and they look very nice. Its not difficult to cut a figure in half and scratch build headphones

Here is the "naked" Vickers without his commander. I'm actaully going to make one more pass at MFCA in early May to try and find a suitable replacement. Failing that, the new Monty goes under the razor saw.

The photos are from a display I quickly put up at a local model show this past weekend. The Vickers was on one Flank and the Rolls on the other. I'm sure Winston felt safe enough.
