In conjunction with our recently released CRU043 Mamluk Warriors Scaling Ladder we of course had to provide something for them to scale. To that end we are pleased to announce the pre-order of the first four sections of our modular walled city of Acre. Our coverage of the Siege of Acre in 1291 would in no way be complete without the necessary diorama pieces to effectly recreated the fortifield walled city of Acre itself. Sets TER012-TER015 are the first four modular pieces that allow you to set up the city on as small or large a scale as you would like. Further, though these pieces are meant for Acre in 1291, they can serve perfectly well for the City of Acre during Napoleon's famous siege of the city in 1798 or even as a generic middle eastern type fortified city such as ancient Jerusalem. We plan on expanding upon these initial pieces with additional sets including a gate section. For those of you who collect our figures, you'll note that the inspiration for these pieces is of course the cover artwork of our figure boxes which depicts Hospitaller Matthew Clermont vigorously defending as Mamluk warriors assault the city.

Those are some great looking terrain pieces Matt! You really are setting the bar high with these. The whole set-up as displayed in your promo pic is terrific. I'm really happy for the Crusader collectors, as these pieces, plus the great figures from this line, are a ready made dio. It's almost like you planned that.....^&grin

These are simply outstanding looking pieces that are GREAT additions to the Crusaders line. While I've got an investment in some JG Castle parts, I may have to snag some of these-can't wait to see what the gate section may look like !
I noticed the FL ladder set is now in stock as well-already ordered mine.

Superb... That tower is huge (like it should be). What is the material used for those ? Polystone or high density foam ?

I'm sure the newsletter is not far away with the preorder of the renaissance line !!!!!!

Cheers

Alex

This is a rare diorama piece that is so cool in itself that it almost makes you want to get into a line you don't even collect (well, I have one Crusader at least). Simply fantastic looking!!
