I've watched the whole series with only the 2nd half of the season finale still to go. I've been entertained, though it is a show designed more for families/young teens than for 45 yo males. Yes, the plots are a bit SOAP with family tensions, themes of the month and not enough dinosaurs but it has been refreshing at times too. I read yesterday that all involved made money, so it was likely it will be renewed at some point over the next month. I would like a bit more edge and less teenage angst (it's still pretty mild though, everything works out Brady Bunch style) but the lead characters are likeable and there have been some clever/informative elements.

I just watched the second part of the finale and really enjoyed it! It was exciting and had a few surprises. It tidied up many threads of the series and introduced an intriguing idea for the next series - if they do one. I really hope they do.
