Steven Chong and I as a favor to Rick represented Fiagrti again this year. We drew lots of attention. The highlights of the show IMO was the HE219 followed by the train and the Karl Mrosher. KC Collectors kept on saying on these would mix well with their collection.

It was fun and that's what this hobby is all about for me.

I have the HE219 at home and it's a fabulous plane! Thank you Rick!

It was great to meet both Carlos and Steve. The entire train set with "Odin" was fantastic. The plane was pretty good too. I look forward to more goodies in the future. The Texas show was my first show, but it will not be my last.

I imagine it's more of a lighting issue, but the 219 in the pics has a greenish top camo apperance? not so it's light gray right?

Hey Ray,

Thanks for asking. Yes, it was a lighting issue. You'll notice no green camo here, it's gray instead. Took these are home shots of my nice new HE219.

Come on guys, I'm not the only guy out here to own one of these beauties am I?

Is the loader out yet? That and the AA gun are looking like great ad-ons.

Carlos - I assume you were having some fun with us, the HE219 isn't out yet, is it?

I've got all the modern stuff and I highly recommend it. Hope Figarti does more.

No problem guys, it was my pleasure taking them and posting them.

The camo scheme on the fuel truck was done by Figarti and was a gift from them. It's a one off. I'm lucky.


The chains around the V2 in the picture along with the mouting blocks the V2 is setting on will be a part of release in very near future.

The Pz. IV loader for Karl Mosher has been released and check with your favorite Figarti dealer.

The German 20mm Flak team has been released.

I have the modern stuff and yes, it's more than cool!

BTW, HE219 is really coming and can be preordered now. I'm thinking next month per my conversation with Figarti prior to the Texas Toy Soldier Show.

I know it sounds like I'm hyping the HE219 abd I am but man for $399 how can you go wrong. This thing is so cool and only takes a little imagination to put together recent WWII release put out by other manufacturers. I that what you might call "investment protection"!

Sort of waiting to see what happens in Chicago first- that field gun doesn't quite fit with what I have going on. I am hoping there is a Bradley being released in Chicago.

Thanks for the pics. That Pz.IV looks awesome. I've been wanting one for awhile now. It appears now that the paint has been weathered a bit as the prototype we saw awhile back in colouration was a little garish. I'm sorely tempted despite the price to pull the trigger on that little gem, it'll go great with my Normandy pieces. ^&cool

2. Forget the Panzer IV. It's sooooo 1940's
3. Another Abrams - it would be sheer madness not to get another one. Or two.
4. Field guns will fit on any dio you've got going on. On a shelf as a stand alone set, overlooking your Modern table - in a position to provide fire support at your command.
5. Chicago is months away. Plenty of time to build the defence budget back up for the 4 Bradley's you'll be wanting.
