We had a great show despite the flash flood Saturday morning caused by thunder storms and almost 10 inches of rain in less than a 24 hour period.
The storm started about 1 am Saturday and continued throughout the day.
Heck, my wife’s truck almost flooded away on the way home after she gave me a lift to the show.

Talk about BAD TIMING. The media warned nation and especially locals to stay at home.
I guess we know why now. I had calls from friends in family in CA worried about my wife’s and my safety on Saturday.

I live about 3 miles from the show and these pictures are between 1 to 3 miles from the show and my home.
Yes, that’s a major freeway artery folks would normally take to the show.
Other places in America have had worse floods but we haven’t seen floods like this in decades in San Antonio, TX.

wow...even though I watched the rain for a while from the Menger's valet parking lot...I had no idea it was that bad...thanks for the pics Carlos...

Amazing but unfortunate pics Carlos. Yes sitting in the Menger Saturday morning of the show watching it pour outside from the Hotels restaurant was a site. As far as the local area of Alamo plaza I did not see any flooding but I'm sure the weather did keep some folks from coming out and attending. I left Sunday at noon to head home west on I-10 and did not see any flooding. Just a few miles away in town made all the difference on who got flooded and how badly.
