Thought I would posts a few photos of various scenes utilizing TG mats; I own four.

I find that they work really well for a variety of smaller scenes and can easily accommodate 6-10 figures; for a full display, and a vehicle or two. Each mat is 15" x 11.25".

EDIT: a nice plus is that figures do not fall over on these flat mats (unless you blow them over).

Fantastic photos and setups, WesternOutlaw! you’ve done a great job blending in the 2D terrain on some of those mats in your 3D setups/photos and it looks great. Personally, I like the TGM mats for certain flat surfaces (e.g. concrete tarmac or aircraft carrier decking) but not as much for more varied surfaces like grass, rocks, etc. They are indeed a great value and quite versatile though.

These are a few of my vignettes using the TGM small Luftwaffe Hard Standing, Concrete Tarmac, and US Carrier Deck bases, cut to fit an 11”x14” frame:

Thanks Tman, your aircraft dios are pretty impressive as well. Everyone has a style and I've always liked your "framed" dios. Understand what you mean re. aircraft decking vs. grass/rock terrain (still like both though). I really purchased to have a surface on my bookshelves. Was using craft and construction paper. Can't wait for TG's small jungle huts. Will be placing a few on my grass/rock mats. I think they'll look really good.

You've got a most impressive collection of aircraft, excellent!

EDIT: I've used the Luftwaffe wooden platform for a few non-airplane scenes as well. Just created this little dio today:

No question these terrain boards are versatile and particularly useful in shelves. Robin.
