Hello TG,

I as a new TG collector am also very impressed with the new WW1 line. The stormtroopers run is a great start. I recently received the Lawrence on Camel with single German Officer figure for 95.00 American with free shipping. What a deal for such a wonderful casting and excellent painting. I really hope we see more of this. I have a wonderful display of all the KC light horse releases and this figure fits right in. I am currently expanding on WWI era middle east and African figures and dioramas. I have many makers but not too many outside of traditional gloss soldiers.

I think going into the African theater would be great.

Thanks,

Ludwig

Hi Ludwig,

Sounds like a great collection. Post some photos if you get a chance. I think TG is a great company and am really excited about the places its going.

Dave

TG was there right from the start and could not be ignored. Although I am a WWII collector I can appreciate the high quality of the figures in other series. Always been and always will be a great TG fan.
guy:)

I agree. TG is really doing it right. I am a big fan of many makers and not just one can handle it all. Handling it all being the demand by us for a constant and ever diversified desire for more and more soldiers!!!

Again lets face it. Every maker is going to have their desired areas and areas they think will market well. In the 60M matte TG and KC go hand in hand. I think TG has become the answer to the direction I hoped the market would turn.

Keep it up TG. I like everything you are doing!!! There seems to be a very positive response to collector input and I love the proto-type early views.

Ludwig!!

Thanks Ludwig for your kind comments. We are producing 2 more LOA sets as we speak but these will be German this time! Check out Facebook soon to see another picture of our new officer for what I mean! Agreed on the African theatre - it would be a great series but lets get some opponents for Lawrence out first!
Best Wishes Tom

As a new toy soldier shop ( with everything produced since Dec on display) I can say that the people that take a look at the TG line when they come in are very impressed indeed. Looks like this will equate to a bunch of new TG collectors. I am sure Tom will keep up the great work!

If Tom does not look out he may be forced to increase is limited production numbers or too many collectors will be missing out. Such is the pressure of it all. Cheers, Robin.

Pix from Thomas Gunn's Facebook page. If you're on Facebook, follow his advice and go to his page so that you can see some of the stuff in the pipeline etc. It's also a good way to communicate directly with the man and the company.

This looks like another great release. Hopefully there will be a gas mask wearing version that can go with the other two currently in the series?

A fantastic series. When the first figure with the flamethrower was released, I immediately thought of this print by German artist Otto Dix which is on display at the Australian War Memorial in Canberra. Hopefully at some point there will be enough figures released for me to create a dio that replicates it somewhat.

Keep 'em coming.

Thank You! I am personally honored by your response. It is not often that the owner of a great company responds personally and takes the time to be one on one.
You are absolutely right on needing some opponents for TE Lawrence of course. The fact that you are making Germans is even better! I can hardly wait. My current display that I used your figures in thus far has all of the KC desert building pieces and Turks with the Light Horse. We need German combatants and advisers!! Ah yes. For this middle eastern theater I would personally die for a representation of the 26th Bavarian Infantry Regiment. They were actually more towards the Balkans but what the heck. No matter whatever you produce be it German, Turks, Brits, etc I will buy in this theater!! Do not forget the desert WWI bi-plane that I need flying recon over the enemy. Yes Tom, it is time for planes.

Now enough of this wish list....as I am sure you are busy...........lets go to my Xmas List.

After my two front teeth I will require a representation of the East and South African theater Santa...oops..I mean Thomas. This will include but certainly not be limited to the following: German southwest and east African troops with askaris; field pieces both cannon and machine guns; British troops; Portuguese troops and Belgians with all there appurtenances and accoutrements. Not only infantry but Navy and Marine detachments as well over time. How about the battle of Lake Tanganyika with Geoffrey Spicer Simpson? Only basic glossy's have ever ventured a little in this time frame of colonial Africa. Everyone an the brother has done the Zulu conflicts but not this. here. Think of the possibilities. It simply boggles the mind.....

In closing a special African Queen set with Bogey and Hepburn on the skiff should do for a Xmas special.

Signed, Ludwig
