Gentle Friends,

Recently I had the opportunity to visit Chuck Harris in his home and it was a wonderful experience. Chuck invited me into his "hooch" and we spent several hours looking at his collection and talking toy soldiers. I think it is impossible to say which of us enjoyed the visit and conversation more. Chuck is a true gentleman and his collection contains items that are the envy of many of us. If you ever have the opportunity that was so graciously presented to me, take Chuck up on it. You won't regret the experience!

Thank you, Chuck, for a wonderful visit and for your friendship!

Warmest personal regards,

Pat

Pat,

For me, meeting Chuck in person last September was the high point of attending the Chicago Show. Chuck is one of the true gentlemen of this hobby, and I am glad to hear you were able to visit his home.

Regards,

Louis

I've been amazed at how many dogs and grandchildren can circulate in the same space whilst Chuck takes a phonecall. I think the secret to the defence of a good collection is to keep a jet pack with the oxygen tanks and just hover as best you can. I'd love to get to see his personal collection space some day.

I was fortunate to recieve an e mail from chuck,it was great
to hear from someone involved in the hobby and get a little insight
into their history .It makes a forum like this a little more personsal :)

Chuck is one cool dude. Very unassuming and just picks up the phone and calls people and is always there when you need a little help. His friendship can never be repaid.

Brad,

I completely agree.

Warmest personal regards,

Pat
