Great gigures, but ....

Did anyone of you 'rivet counters' out there pick up the painting error with 3 of the Aussie diggers??

EA 068, 069 & 072 all have BLACK BOOTS !!!!!

They should have been brown like the other figures.

Maybe they needed a re-kit in Suez on the way trough to Tobruk and went to a British Q-Store?

Maybe they won them in cards or on a bet about the Ashes Test :D:D:D

Still, for the purist, its a easy fix with a tin of brown paint and some Sahara dust ^&grin

Nice figures AND these reinforcements are sure to turn the tide of conflict in North Africa and give the AFRIKA KORPS a run for its money!

I think these new Aussie figures will make for a very welcome addition to the North Africa range, with these we can have a Desert patrol that with the addition of scenic items or vehicles will be very effective. When I first started collecting I only thought of the figures/vehicles as on display on my shelves, but these days I think of a scene I could build them into, this hobby is very very addictive!^&grin^&cool

Obee, interesting point made about the boots. Then again it can be viewed as the troops are making do with whatever was available in theater. Cheers ......
