A big thank you to all of you who took time to post pics or reports for us from the windy city.Your yearly efforts really are appreciated.:)

Does anyone have anymore pics or info on the Winter Sherman?.I.E how many crew it has or what price.?

Rob

I agree with Rob, thank you for showing what may were unable to see. Hopefully one day I will travelt to the toy soldier Mecca, but until then it is nice that so many share there photos and experiences!

Kudos to all the collectors who provided information about the show. In particular, Brad and Steven Chong. Not to look a gift horse in the mouth, but I'm a little surprised at the lack of information from manufacturers and dealers. Figarti seemed to be the only company that even made an effort. A lot of collectors attend the show, but a lot of us also look to these forums for information as well.

:D What!?!?!?:rolleyes::confused: Brad and Steven?? Please anyone can type! I went home and rescaled and uploaded pictures and I dont even make honorable mentioned!! Jeez I see how it is......:D:p:D Thanks a lot Combat!

Combat,

I would like to weigh in on this one, the internet connection at the show was horrendous, I know Rick went through what was probably "pain" to get his pics posted. You will notice Tony Neville and TSTV gave up on it!

I also have to say I myself as a collector was tired since Wednesday and I didn't post as much as I wanted too! SO, I can only imagine the dealers. Remember, the dealers are there for their super bowl, this is a chance to sell a lot of items to a captive audience. I would think the last thing on a dealer's mind is posting to a forum. They are there to sell baby sell!

Also, K&C posted a preview of their room on their workshop days prior.

Brad and Steven and Carlos are to be commended for their efforts!

Consider yourself honorably mentioned.;):D I would especially like to thank anyone who has posted or will post photos for items from manufactuers other than K&C and Figarti.

Oh Crap, Brian, you are correct, the reason I posted no K&C photos was because of your excellent work, consider me appropriately chastised!!

Thanks again,

TD

I didn't do much; just happened to have the Blackberry (or crackberry, right Brian?:D) at the right time.

Carlos and Brian took the great photos and Steven did the great reporting, plus Brian got us going to where we had to go, not to mention treating for dinner on Thursday. It ain't Chicago if Warbuff is not there. Good luck with the Cubbies dude.

Whoa whoa whoa Brad...lets not go crazy...or next year more people will be wanting to go to dinner with us! Always good to see everyone! Go Cubs Go!

Well as for someone who once again missed all the fun and excitement due to work - getting the show reports at night was great.

Thank you Brad, Brian, Steven, Carlos and TOM too ! All of you made the rest of us on the outside feel like we were there - it was very appreciated.

One day - I hope to get to that show and see the SUPER BOWL of the Toy Soldier World :D

Again - thanks guys for thinking about the rest of us. ;)
