Not the best of times to be looking forward to a family get together for a Thanksgiving feast. As such I have put together
a small vignette titled "Predator or Prey?" Kind of my way adding a little levity to everyone's day and wishing you all a Happy Thanksgiving

The vignette is centered around a metal flat I bought last year at the Long Island show. First photo is of the casting being cleaned and the tools I use.
It went from there to a coat of primer and then the painting started. It is an undercoat of acrylics with multiple layers of various color values as
I build my way up to the final coat of Artist oils

As the flat progressed I started sketching out the backdrop. Eventually the sketch was transferred to a canvas board and Heavy body acrylic
paints were used to finish the backdrop. Once the backdrop was dry it was fit to a deep frame and the flat was attached and groundwork
installed in the foreground of the frame. Last photo is of the finished vignette

Hope you enjoyed this very brief description. Stay safe and have a Happy Thanksgiving

Very beautifully done. Your choice of colors is splendid. Like the humor.
