I know I have gone a little overboard on photos of my figures with this new Traverse "Mountain Pass" piece I just got...I'll be the first to admit it...I'm sure everybody is sick of seeing it by now...

but it's just one of the best pieces I have bought in a while...

it's timeless....

it seems like everything I own works with this piece...

I highly recommend this prop to forum members...it's big...it's detailed...it's versatile...it comes apart in two sections to give it a different look...(which I have not shown yet)...it's a very affordable piece...it should fit in any cabinet...and while I have added some groundwork and shrubs...it will stand alone on it's own without any extra detail and still look good...

Treefrog has this piece on their website...

I hate to say this.....:redface2:....but I will probably throw some Jacobites on it...and then some FIW Indians and take two more groups of pictures...sorry...at least I'm not using the same figures over and over...it seems to lend to everything I own...

Don't be sorry Mike. I, for one, do not get tired of seeing this stuff especially the scenes you do. This one is quite impressive with all the troops marching like that. Looks great!

Superb Michael, I can just imagine a few of my Highlanders marching up that pass:salute::

Cheers

Martyn:)

Don't apologize Michael , the pics are great and always a treat to see what you are up to. That looks like one heck of a size to hold all those figures. Wonder if it will work for the Zulus ?!?!

ty Scott...Papa Zulu just ordered one...I think it would work perfect for Islawanda...I guess even the mountains behind Rorke's Drift too...Ken called me and told me he ordered one today also...

it is a big piece 12"x12"x24"...I have 37 figures on this one...it would hold more...I don't think you can wrong with this piece...

It's a great piece and having fun with it and the figures is what the whole hobby is about. That also looks like it would work for the battle at Hlobane in the AZW. Now that landscape had rocks!{sm3} -- Al

That looks great Mike. It would be even better with some British Peninsular troops and artillery train moving through the Spanish mountain pass chasing off those Frenchies......."Over the hills and far away:eek:......"
I have got to get one of them.........^&cool

thank you Al...thank you Naps...it's a great piece for almost anything...mountain props are pretty timeless and lend to almost all figures..
