Hi Brad,
nice photo, I like it.
Wanted to post a photo myself today, but have no idea how to get it down to the allowed size of only some 19KB.
Took my picturessettings of the camera down to the lowest possible level but they are still too big.
Do you have any advise what to do.
Thanks and talk to you later.
Konrad
The photo I wanted to post was not from Jen though, sorry.

I guess I have to be on the forum for a while 'til I get it what's all going on. Very pleased to read the dialogues though.

3 or 4 members openly fancy Jen (inc Rob).

The other 400+ are just in denial. ;)

I knew you'd fit in so well here Konrad!!

i've been a huge fan of the french and indian wars since the mid 50's when for what ever reason my public school would show "northwest passage" starring spencer tracy twice a year in the auditorium..... i use to shoot black powder (still have my long rifle, brown bess, tomahawks and knives mounted in my den). i also have a rather large library on the F&I, especially the iroquois confederacy and revolutionary war. one of the best historical novels on the f&I war is "wilderness campaign" by allan w. eckert. the book is unbelievable, you wont be able to put it down. through the years i've collected soldiers from this period, although not too many companies produced them. now they're everywhere, with jenkins at the top of the heap. have all the jenkins and making a small diarama of "braddocks defeat". by the way, john jenkins is a really nice person. i emailed him a few times with a few questions, that he could have answered with a few words. however, he took his time, answered with long paragraphs, and included pictures of a few new sets. a true gentlemen. if you get a chance, see "the unconquered" by cecil b. demille, starring gary cooper about ponticas rebellion and fort pitt.

Hi pugio,
thanks for your response and all the info. I will definetely check on the "Wilderness Campaign" and try to find it. If I find a source for the Gary Cooper movie I will have a look a that too.
My diorama plans are similiar to yours, but I wait a while to see what other figures come out for "Braddock's Defeat" or the "Battle at the Monongahela". When another subject starts from John Jenkins, then I will make my first attempt to build a diorama.
Nice meeting you and talk to you later.
Konrad
