Almost 31/2 hours for me...Too far away. Michael
You really should try to get there, Michael, this is a good show. Just get up early
How close are you to 78? If you can get to I-78, you shoot right across Central Jersey to the Parkway, it's not a bad ride.
Prost!
Brad
According to Mapquest, it's about a two and a half hour drive.
(the other Brad )
Brad
How far from Reading PA?
thanks
Andy
Thanks Brad
I think I will just wait for the show in Gettysburg the next weekend.
2 1/2 hours is just a bit much.
Andy,
That's the same problem I have in not making Gettsyburg. A drive from Chester, NJ would be about 3 and a half hours. Way too long unfortunately.
Hackensack is rich in early American History......................................................................................................
I'm not going to commit to the Hackensack show......because frankly a trip to Hackensack N.J. scares me!
What the hell is a Hackensack anyway......and why is an entire town named after it?
Hackensack is rich in early American History.
Hackensack is a city in Bergen County, New Jersey, United States and the county seat of Bergen County. Although informally called Hackensack, it was officially named New Barbadoes Township until 1921. As of the 2000 Census, the city population was 42,677. The census 2004 population estimate indicates a total of 43,681. It is located approximately 7 miles west of Manhattan and 12 miles south of Rockland County, New York. From a number of locations one can see the New York City skyline. The Metropolitan campus of Fairleigh Dickinson University straddles the Hackensack River in both Hackensack and Teaneck. http://www.myhackensack.com/

That settles it...I'm not going
Maybe...
Mike
C'mon Mike; Billy Joel said you need a house out in Hackensack, if it's good enough for him, jump in, the waters fine.
It really is a great show, the biggest show on the East Coast with loads of vendors.
I was at the Burlington MA show yesterday and one of the vendors who was there had a boatload of ACW sets from Britains and Conte and he plans on being at Hackensack; if any of you guys are looking for older Britains and Conte ACW sets, shoot me a list of the codes you are after and I will see if he has them.
He's a good guy, his prices were very fair, sold quite a few sets at the show, but still has a lot more available.
He also has some of the ACW sets done based on the Troiani paintings; all are MIB, never taken out of the foam and tissues..........
The trickier part is coming home, if you have to take the Parkway south. Brad
George,
Who needs a house out in Hackensack?
Is that all you get for your money?
And it seems such a waste of time
If that's what it's all about
Mama if that's movin' up then I'm movin' out.
I'm movin' out...mmm-hmm...ooo-ooo...uh-huh...mmm-hmm.
I'll be there hopefully...I'll stop by for a chat if I do!
Mike

Ah the Garden State Parkway!! I can't even imagine the trips I took up to Jahn's Ice Cream Parlor up in Union, and down to Long Beach Island to surf during the 1960's!
And don't worry....it will only be a toll road until it is paid off............
Its been over 40 years now!
