Watched a new two part PBS series by Ken Burns. I'm a big fan of his productions and this was no exception. It's the story of the almost extinction of perhaps 60M bison and their ultimate redemption. It's sickening to see the wanton destruction of these animals and ultimate starvation brought to the Native American tribes. But the early history of America in the Old West is fascinating. Catch a rerun if you can. Chris
