The Army of Frederick the Great (1 Viewer)

"Your wish is my Command"

so I have checked my shelves to find something that fits the title of this thread, but alas, I can only find one group of figures I have painted since the last post.

It is a group of 40mm semi-flat Prussian 9th Infantry that I cast from Prince August moulds and painted.

I have painted some other figures, of the same era, 7YW, but from other forces.

I don't think I have any more Prussian 7YW castings needing my 'lick of paint' so I better keep searching?

I just remembered that I posted the image below on a Prince August Facebook page sowing my 'top shelf' which is mostly figures i have cast and painted using PA series on 54mm moulds.

PA_7YW_Prussians.jpg

On the left side there is a marching grenadier form each of the 55 Infantry Regiments (back 5 rows) and marching drummers, standards and some musketeers in the front row.

The right side contains fighting soldiers and a few other makes on the top shelf.

I may next take pics on the next 3 shelves all full of Frederick's soldiers, if you like?

John,

Anything you do always looks fantastic so it doesn’t have to be Prussians or even SYW but anything you like.

Pictures of Frederick’s soldiers would be great though.

Here is the first picture, these 3 stand proudly on top of the cabinet as they are big figures.

Here's another shelf, my John Jenkins Battle of Leuthen set.

JJD-leuthen.jpg

Note that i included another of the straight wall sections to fill my shelf and enable my Austrians to fill the walls.
The base is just a piece of stiro-foam not the JJD base which wasn't big enough.

Also 2 of the Austrians are resin masters that John kindly supplied to me but I have painted them to his style.

John
