The Arrival: Kriegsmarine Scene (1 Viewer)

WO...I like them both...but the black and white is my favorite...I think the backdrop is why...the backdrop just makes the background more busier to me...great job!

Nice diorama Western Outlaw! The only thing that is missing are some British commandos sneaking around wreaking havoc.
Cheers,
Brendan

Very good, not often seen involving Kriegsmarine, motivates me to follow your example. Robin.

Thank you all for the comments and likes.

Great idea! I'm looking at those commandos; but would esp. love one or two new sets featuring some Kriegsmarine. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

W/O,

Looks like your passion went from the "Dry Desert" to the "Cold Wet" deep seas ! Nice scene :salute::

Thanks PA.

It did; started with this:

and quickly grew:

although I've always liked U-Boats and maritime-related themes, and even have a 1/18 sub which I took a few shots of last year (non-Kriegsmarine flag was simply to see how one might look):

What I particularly like about K&C's Kriegsmarine theme is that it was limited to only 16 pieces (KM series); 13 figures, Seehund, BMW, and Recovery Vehicle. Gave me hope that I could eventually find each piece completing the set and create a small dio. Found the perfect place in the house for the collection and am planning to close it up with a custom made acrylic case once I find all the pieces.
