The Germans have built a ring of outer defenses in the French countryside and the Americans have to take numerous strongpoints in order to take the city............

The Germans defend the strongpoint with all the resources they have, but eventually it falls and the advance continues..........

Sweet dio George I especially like the strongpoint. What's the largest dio you have ever done. It seems like you can create a vast diorama.

Thanks for the props, you master painter and building creator guy you........:D

The largest one I've ever done was 10' by 4', The Battle of Stalingrad, specifically the fighting within the tractor factory complex area.

I am assembling and designing one specifically for Debrito; The Battle of Berlin, specifically the fighting around the Brandenberg Gate.........

Outstanding as usual George.
Looks like a lot of fun. I saw some FOV 1/72 armor at Target with my son. I was tempted but declined. My 14 year old actually talked me out of it!
We bought a couple 1/32 Grants on closeout instead.
I dont think I can paint 1/72 anymore anyway. Blind in one eye and cant see outta the other as my old man likes to say.
Great stuff George.

Thanks Napoleonic master, one of these days I'm gonna break out my 20mm Napoleonic collection and do a massive battle, just a question of time..............

Thats the one I,m waiting on George!
Nice set up by the way! You,ve got some nice scenic pieces.
If you do get around to doing the Napoleonics can I come over and play also?:p

You're more than welcome Tim, I'll need all the setting up help I can get regarding Napoleonics considering that between French, British, Russian, Prussian, Austrian, Bavarian and Nassau I've got about 10,000 troops..............................

10,000 thats all! I thought you said you had a lot of napoleonics???:p
I say you leave the british in the boxes and go for a leipzig diorama and use them all.:p
Are they all painted?

10,000, George your makeing entirely too much money selling soldiers!!!
Gary

Tim,
Funny you mention the British as those are the least of my collection for some strange reason; I've got mostly Austrians, Russians and Prussians, so perhaps you are right and The Battle of Leipzig is calling me.

They are all painted, mostly by yours truly back when I had loads of free time, which I don't anymore as most of it is spent selling toy soldiers to you guys...........I wouldn't have it any other way...........

I also would like to see a Warrior version of a colorful Napoleonic scrap, however he hinted to me sometime ago that he might present an ACW battle just for me, looks like we're forming a queue here. So come on Warrior take me and Tim back to the 19th century.

Only kidding George, but the Rebs currently scrapping on my dio thread are taking a hell of a beating from them Yankees and sure could do with some support.
Another excellent "little but very large" WWII dio. Great stuff!

Yup.
Cummon George.....let's see an 18th or 19th century dio. Please.
Cheers
H

Ok boys, I will start planning one out, perhaps two, one ACW and one Napoleonic.

Tim, get yourself overhere at some point to assist me and we'll get it done...............

Hello Warrior, thanks for the consideration, I'm anxious and looking forward to see this DIO.

Best regards....:D

I've already got the Brandenburg Gate, now all I need is to add some buildings and plan the layout and I'll be there; you will be the first to know when it is ready to go, I promise.........;)

George your dio's are always worth waiting for. You always seem to have some totally different pieces, it must be from years of collecting great job. :)
