The Battle of Borodino........... (1 Viewer)

George, as always, I am really impressed by the sheer size of your battleground and the number of figures you employ, along with the hours of work to set it up. The redoubt is a highlight, as are the cavalry. And, as always, I am impressed by the incredible detail that your figures have. The painting is superb. -- Al

Another wonderful dio George. Such an impressive display of the battle, never fails to impress with the sheer numbers and quality of your work. A pleasure to view. Chris

Thanks Chris, glad you like it, I really enjoyed setting this one up, it was a lot of fun....

George

You are an absolute master at these grandiose set-ups. Incredibly dedicated minute placements. I am always in awe of your massive battle scenes and am always left slightly envious when you post them :smile2:

Thanks Bob, I appreciate the kind words, these dioramas as you know take on a life of their own, sometimes it's the smallest details that either make or break them, this one just fell together nicely and I'm happy with the result....

Thanks Al, not bad for figures that are not even an inch tall..........:wink2:

The panoramas such as the Waterloo one you and I have been discussing really inspire me; the Waterloo, Borodino, Picketts Charge and Battle of Atlanta all influenced me as a kid, I've tried to bring a couple of them to life with my collection..............and the 150th anniversary of Picketts Charge is coming up now isn't it..............^&grin
