Hi Guys,

One of the projects I have most looked forward to in recent times has been the design and ‘master-making’ of our first two K&C Australian Military Land Rovers.

Well, a few days back, we finally received our the unpainted castings of these two iconic vehicles and our ‘master-painter’ got down to work painting them. Obviously I am biased but I think he did a great job!

So, here’s a closer look at what you can expect to see in a few months time.

As you can see the first vehicle to be released will be the ‘Military Police’ version complete with a seated MP driver. The canvas canopy will be fixed on permanently both as a safety measure and to protect the paintwork.

An add-on set of 2 x Aussie MP’s will be available when the vehicle is released.

Our second Land Rover is a ‘Patrol / General Service’ Quarter-Tonner and comes with no canvas cover and a regular army driver with his L1A1 Self Loading Rifle beside him.

Being a patrol vehicle both side doors and the rear hatch have been removed for ease of access and quick ‘debussing’.

An add-on set of 3 x seated Australian infantrymen will also be released at the same time as this vehicle.

Put them all together and you’ve got some exceptional additions to an exceptional series!

All the best lads and happy collecting...
Oh and by the way look out for a big new ‘VIETNAM’ diorama featuring both vehicles… coming soon!

Ok two beauties here. Not wishing time away, but can’t wait for these, just have to be patient though. The MP vehicle maybe under the Christmas tree it seems, something to think about {sm4}:salute::, Excellent news Andy. Robin.

Andy mate,
Outstanding cobber. These two little beauties are going to put a serious hole in the budget in months to come. Definitely a multiple buy of each.

Cheers Howard

Many thanks Guys for your appreciative words...Later today I will post the special new ‘Vietnam’ diorama featuring these two vehicles.

Over the years K&C has produced literally hundreds of different military vehicles...These two may not be the biggest or the most lethal or even the most popular...But I do believe they are quie simply among ...The Best!

Happy. Collecting,
Andy.

Used to drive a Landrover Defender, they did used to drive like a bus and like buses you wait for 1 and then 3 or 4 come along at once, just like TS Landrovers, none released, then 2 manufacturers deliver [be it short and long wheelbase] in under a year. Only seeing pictures but they all look really good.

The Vietnam series is pushing ahead, there is one classic vehicle that is a must, a Tuk Tuk
