Watercolour by Lt. Reginald Perrin (1785-1860), 42nd Highland Regiment, showing the Black Watch in Belgium between the battles of Quatre Bras and Waterloo. Perrin was elected to the Royal Academy and after the war retired to Shropshire where he devoted the remainder of his life to art.
