Showing some pics of the new, not yet officially released, Arado AR-234 with an Arado E.381 Kleinstjäger parasite fighter from Thomas Gunn Miniatures. It’s a beautiful and very interesting model!
The Arado E.381 Kleinstjager (smallest fighter) was a proposed rocket-powered parasite fighter that would have been carried aloft by and launched from an Arado AR-234 "mother" aircraft to attack Allied bombers. It was never developed due to lack of funding and official interest in the concept.
The AR-234 model itself, representing a fictional aircraft from Ergänzungs-Jagdgeschwader (EJG) 2 in late 1945, is a variation on the AR-234 C3 with the swept wings intended for the AR-234 V16 experimental variant. It is thus a fanciful design evolution of the type, but makes for a visually interesting model
