I have opened a new album under the above title displaying photos of the Brandywine Battlefield in March 2009. If you would like a copy of any of these digital photos, please drop me a PM and I will e-mail it to you in due course for use as a background.

The first photos are of General Washington's HQ:

And here is my first personal attempt at using these photos for a background:

PS: The soldier is Britains Private Continental Line, Mid-Atlantic States, visiting the battlefield in 1780.

Nice job, Andanna! Have you made any more shots yet? Please post!

Prost!

Just happened to see this one, Andanna. Very nice! I live near the Brandywine area and have visited the building you used in the background. I love and have this figure too. Please post more.

Thank you for the encouragement.

I am planning to do a series of photos involving historic buildings from this area, but unfortunately, the job I have and that I really love, sometimes gets in the way of leisure time activities. So this will have to wait.

Hopefully not until the next anniversary of the battle. :D

Great image... Let's see more!
There are a few more FIW and AWI Classic Gloss in the upcoming W. Britain catalog for those of you who enjoy this period too.

A terrific photo. You can't beat the WB Classic glossies. Glad to see you adding this range to your collection. That H&A grassy base is a godsend for all us diorama and photo folks.
