How many of you would really like to start a new range .I have started the crusader range and only have Seven figures but think their great. So now I collect WW1 & WW2 & Crusaders.I liked them from the first time I saw them and new it would only be a short time till I had to have them. What would be your next range to collect if you could.Just if you could only pick one you haven't got what would it be.Simmo.

I collect Napoleonics but when the Crusaders came out I thought I would have to get some of these. They are each unique and you only need a few to make a nice scene. My favourite is the Bishop of Tours.

Oh Brett you can have as many ranges as you want.Your shop is full to the rafters with toy soldiers and you can have as many as you like.Simmo.P.S I forget you are married and the fun police always check out what you have.Yes a good choice for your second range.Simmo.:D

Good question. My first instinct would be to go for WW1 as i've been reading about it since the age of about ten!.However i may have to go for the Napoleonics because of the wonderful uniforms,i love the Red of the Wellingtons lads and the Blue of Napoleons army. Also although i am a WW1/2 guy there is just something about Waterloo that stirs the soul, such a monumental battle between the legandary Napoleon and the highly talented Wellington, wonderful stuff.

I have fallen victim to this !!!

Started with my Napoleonics ...

and then decided to by a tank to see what they were like (cant get to shows as in Bahrain); got a Sherman. Big mistake - I thought it was fab ...

Now, in a matter of weeks have 3 Shermans, 1 Crusader tank, 1 Tiger (fab) and 2 German tanks coming from Santa !!! E-bay has some amazing bargains at the moment. Have to limit my WWII to D-Day though...

Those three famous words we've all said and ignored at some point 'Have to limit';)

I have a bit of this and that..i've started with napoleonics , FOB and EA ..numerically they are the best part of my collection..then my attention shifted to Civil War , American War of Ind. & Crimea..now my focus is to complete the NY infantry of AWI, but if i'd the chance i'd like to start Crusade and Alamo..the first is full of beautiful and colourful pieces (the shields of the saracens are outstanding) ,the second is a dream since i watched the fim "Alamo" ,but if i buy this range i'd like to build the whole diorama , the Alamo chapel is really cheap and is a good start..so definitely i'd say the next range i'll collect will be Alamo..i can't stop watching that scene of Davy Crockett playing on the roof and silencing the "Deguello"...

It is a desire of mine everytime I turn around - Andy comes out with something great and I start thinking - hmmmmmmmmmm

Oh it is so tough to hold yourself back ! I am glad that I am running out of space to start forcing me to focus and collect slowly. With the changes in the economy - I will not be dropping $500 - $800 a month anymore.

But, like I said on another thread - I am victim to those great ideas of Andy with cross promotion ! The SOHK and US Navy is going to be hard to ignore.

I have been buying K&C tanks, I am waiting for the Doughboys and World War I tanks, before I start another K&C range.

My main focus is Little Legion's Zulu Series.
