The Campaign in Germany, 1813........... (1 Viewer)

Well George, although the subject matter of your photos is not the ACW, they are still brilliantly done and a pleasure to view . . . . . good show . . . .
:smile2: Mike

Thanks Mike, I'm kicking around some ACW layouts as well, trying to decide which one I want to do next..........

Rob,

Thanks Rob, I'm flattered that my work inspires you to amp up your collecting and painting. Get ready to really be inspired as shortly I will be putting together a display using my French, Polish, Bavarian, Russian and Prussian armies, about three times the size of this one........;).............

I really like your work and diorama figures. Nice pics and figure painting George. Can I paint a Army like that in one week?:rolleyes2: I have a short attention span as I look at figures I started months ago along with that D--- Tiger tank model.:eek: John

Thanks John, glad you like my collection; my best guess is if you start right now, paint 24/7 for the next week, drink a lot of coffee and don't take any bathroom breaks, you'll be fine................;)............and I expect that Tiger tank to be completed by Chicago as well, will see you in a few weeks............

Great work there George. very inspirational. I'm collecting troops for the same campaigns. Lots of collecting, cleaning , assembly , super gluing fingers to parts, fingers together, making lances and pennants.
Brigade after brigade of assorted Germans and Poles, cavalry galore, batteries hub to hub.
Just need to paint. Seems like an insurmountable chore now.
Awesome work!

George, thank you for sharing your wonderful and detailed displays. The mass and many colored uniforms add so much to the martial atmosphere.

Might I be so bold as to make a small suggestion ... You post many shots/views of your displays, it would help members' appreciation of what they are seeing, if you provided some short narration for kind of troops and scenarios that you are displaying. Helps to tell who the good guys are ... {sm4}

All the bests
