Just received the Russians and think they are very well done. If you collected the K&C Russians these go very well with them.
Hopefully more Borodino participants will be forthcoming......especially Russian cavalry!

There already are Russian Napoleonic Cossack cavalry figures made by collectors show case! I have 14 of them now, there are only 4 poses. They were a special limited commission set some one had made and they were limited to 12 sets of 4 figures. I picked up my first 9 at a show and just picked up another 5 more on ebay. This last time around they came in collectors show case boxes, the first 9 were in Thomas Allan labeled boxes, so I don,t know if they will now be an expanded release and now available from collectors showcase???
Here is a link I posted on here awhile back when I first found them.

Just looked through the link I just posted and noticed you were the other guy here who also has 8 of these figures.:rolleyes2: So I guess this is old news to you. I think they are making more of these, the last 5 I picked up were in collectors show case boxes with full art work and the pictures of the figures on the boxes like all there other figures.

Yes, I have two sets of the Cossacks and they are great figures.
I suggested to Brian that he consider Russian Dragoons and/or Cuirassiers.
FL has a great Borodino series but for my purposes of larger dioramas TCS is just more economical.

Yes cuirassiers are my most wanted russian cavalry set also! I tried converting my own once in plastic but The work involved for the amount of figures I want is kinda crazy so I just made the 2 figures only.

Hi, are you sure they go with KC Russians, the CS look semi gloss not matt,

CS figures have changed too much, the bases are smaller, this green felt grass on it, and paint work not as good,

they seem to have gone to another manufacturer the quality has changed

K&C are slightly "bulkier" but I still think they work well together. Uniform colors are close enough. Yes the base is smaller
on CS so if you are setting up on a grass matt they may wobble.....you can always use tacky wax. On a flat surface there is
no problem.
If you prefer matt finish and want to build a more extensive diorama then TCS is the more economical choice. I had collected
quite a few K&C Russians hoping they would extend the range with cavalry and more infantry regiments. So until this recent
CS release of Grenadiers my K&C laid dormant.
If you are doing a Borodino or any other 1812 Russian/French battle the JJD French Line figures can be used as well.
Now we just need some affordable Russian cavalry.
