I thought it would be fun to see how I could fit these two mounted figures into a Crusades scenario. I'm giving myself a bit of artistic license here.

Always a nice view to see your ever expanding collection of Crusader figures and buildings George. Is that your dining room table almost hidden under your scenario set up . . . . if it is I can imagine all the work you must have to do to move everything in order to be able to use the table to have dinner on . . .

George...you choose smartly posed Saracens to match up with this sets poses...really nice job...your collection looks great too...

Wow !!! speaking of an attack on a fortified city, that is really impressive.

Hi Michael, thanks for the compliment. Likewise, I also always enjoy viewing your Crusades and Medieval displays, which I think are always excellent. I know what you mean about needing more space. Looks as though you can't fit too many more figures into your Crusades diorama. You have a lot of really nice figures on there. The problem with mine is that, up to this point, it is always a temporary display on a big dining room table and it can only be there for short periods of time. My figures and buildings spend most of their time stacked in a big closet. I plan to build a permanent 3.5' X 6.5' display board for my Crusades diorama, before the end of this year. I already have the trees and I plan to do the rest of the terrain in a very realistic manner, like what you do on your displays. I've gotten some very helpful information from you, regarding bushes, etc. Stay tuned.

Hi Mike,

Good to hear from you. Thanks for the compliment. Yep, that's our dining room table, but fortunately we have another table that we eat on most of the time. Yeah, the figures and buildings spend most of their time on a shelf in a big closet. Permanent diorama table with realistic terrain is coming shortly. Stay tuned!

It's great to see two of the best collections/dio set-ups in the Crusader line that I've seen. As always, even more pictures would be welcomed.
It's great inspiration.

I'll swap George everything on my table for his table...he has the best collection of Crusader/Saracens I have seen...

Thanks, Michael. That's partly because the Crusades is the only era I collect. My money doesn't have to be spread out over having to collect any other series. You and I have many of the same figures, including all of the mounted Crusaders and Saracens ever released by King & Country. I've already collected virtually every Crusades-era figure that K&C has ever made. I also really like many of the new First Legion Crusades offerings and have a growing number of them. They tie in very well with the K&Cs. Both brands are equally nice in their own ways. I always enjoy viewing images of your Crusades dio.

George
