The Australian Government, therefore, regards the Pacific struggle as primarily one in which the United States and Australia must have the fullest say in the direction of the democracies' fighting plan. Without any inhibitions of any kind, I make it quite clear that Australia looks to America, free of any pangs as to our traditional links or kinship with the United Kingdom. We know the problems that the United Kingdom faces. We know the constant threat of invasion. We know the dangers of dispersal of strength, but we know too, that Australia can go and Britain can still hold on. ...

Prime Minister John Curtin December 27, 1941

Well done, particularly the meshing in black and white.

Gives a all round view of this tank for collectors to consider taking up. The beach scene is excellent, leading the troops ashore. Well done. Robin.

I have a jungle scene in my mind for this tank. Will be my next project

Thanks! There has been a bit of discussion about the need for manufacturers to venture into the Pacific. I wonder how well the tank sold. I know at least three went to Aussies but surely it sold well in the US. I did the 'Wikipedia walk' and based on where the tank saw action I suspect we will see some US Marines sooner rather than later.

It is a nice model. I only ordered it on a whim but I am pleased that I did. It is my first experience of getting in on a range at the very start. I can therefore happily say that at this point in time I am up to date with this range!!

Me to, up to date, but for how long. Really not sure how far I will go with this era. Not my favourite. Time will tell. Robin.

There is more Pacific stuff in the pipeline, both vehicles and soldiers but not the ones that everybody is expecting !!!!!

Superb, Jack - a rising son of dio's :). The collage of media creates depth for the simple presentation.
