How about a series of figures, accessories and vehicles paying tribute to the POW's of WW2. We all have seen the movie and I have recently been reading some great books on escapes of WW2 and I think K&C could produce some stunning sets honoring the men who were behind the wire. The possibilities could be endless, some ideas are:

POW's

*walking the compound, such as around the 'circuit'
*disguised as German soldiers attempting a blitz escape
*excersing in the yard
*POW's dispersing the dirt, known as the Penguins
*POW's stooging, such as reading books, watching the goons

German's

*Guards partolling the wire
*Ferrets, German guards patrolling the compound with probes
*Guards with dogs
*Kommandant and staff

Scenics

*Towers with sentry
*Perimeter fencing
*Perimeter Main Gate with sentry box
*Barracks facades
*Kommandantur facade
*"Cooler" facade

SL sets

*Personalties from the film, including Hilts, Bartlett, Ashley Pitt
*Gestapo agents
*Escaping from the tunnel set, 3 POW's and German guard


These are just some ideas but I think it would be a great series to have, you could build your own Stalag Luft III and stage your own "Great Escape"

How about it Andy, ready to become our "Big X"?
 
I like the idea. My imagination is picturing a scenario now. I don't know if there would be enough interest, but I would be one.
 
I'm sure some existing customers or potential will not like this idea since you could build your own concentration camp with those german diorama pieces.. I won't mind myself but..

Anyone wishing to build their own concentration camp would have to have a pretty sick mind IMO.

I'd interpret that as prison camp Harry in keeping with the theme of The Great Escape.

you forgot Steve McQueen in german uniform reving the motorbike up for the big jump over the barbed wire at the border :cool:

That'd be amazing if they released something like that! I would definently buy all they sold.
