I recently returned from Kyiv in Ukraine from a Christmas vacation.The trip has renewed my interest in the First Legion Stalingrad series and I just sent in my order for four figures. The museum was incredible and its not hard to realize that this was total war. The museum sits directly underneath the “Motherland” statue. There are more soviet military vehicles than your eyes can scan at once. Imagine a display of literally hundreds of German Iron Crosses. The displays are moving and its not hard to imagine the cities under siege. I have some pictures I will share shortly if anyone is interested. If you ever get the opportunity to visit Kiev, you will love the history and the archiecture.

I would love to see your photos.

Yes,it must be great both the city and the museum.
But I am not sure Ukraine nowadays is keen to celebrate "the great patriotic war" as they are fighting against Russia through the war against the indipendentists of Donbass and they just lost Crimea.{sm4}
