An intense scene as a German Tiger I and Soviet T-34/76 duel during the Battle of Prokhorovka on 12 July 1943, during Operation Citadel (southern front). I only had so much space on my chosen base, but tanks did get this close in the melee at Prokhorovka and it ranks as one of the single largest tank battles in history.

This vignette uses prebuilt and pre-painted 1/30 scale models and figures from a variety of manufacturers including the new Xuan Hua T-34/76, War Park Tiger I and SS troops, First Legion Soviets, W. Britain (damaged tree) and Build a Rama (grass terrain).

I really like how this scene came out… Lots of action and a story that could go any direction… Enjoy

Great vignette, Tristan! I'm not sure that the Russians have much of a chance. I recently read on line about a single Tiger destroying more than 20 T34-76's, because their shells just couldn't penetrate the Tiger's armor. Maybe if they get behind it?
